A rectangular case, a hand-wound movement, and nothing to prove. The 5124G was the first piece acquired — and in retrospect, it set the tone for everything that followed. No complications, no sports-watch cachet, just a quietly beautiful Gondolo in white gold that said: this collection will be built on taste, not trends.

Collector's Note

Where most new Patek clients start with a Nautilus enquiry, this collection opened with a Gondolo. That says everything. The rectangular hand-wound case is a deliberate rejection of hype — it told the AD from day one that this was a collector, not a speculator.
