A retrograde date hand that sweeps forward across a 270-degree arc, then snaps back to the first of the month — the perpetual calendar reimagined as kinetic drama. The 6159G-001 introduces a grey metallized sapphire crystal dial that reveals the calendar mechanism beneath, paired with a hobnail-patterned bezel and case back that references Patek's most classical decorative tradition. At 39.5mm with the Cal. 26-330 S QR, it wears thinner than its 11.45mm suggests. Launched at Watches & Wonders 2025, this is Patek's most contemporary-looking perpetual calendar.

Collector's Note

The retrograde perpetual calendar in its first year of production. Being allocated the 6159G immediately signals that the AD and brand see this collector as a priority for new grand complication launches — the logical culmination of a decade's worth of purchasing trust. The sapphire crystal dial and hobnail bezel are a deliberate aesthetic departure for Patek, and acquiring it early means being part of that conversation from the start.
